Károly Orosz artist-craftsman

I was born in Berettyóújfalu, Hungary on 18. march, 1956.            Back

At the beginning I have created folkloric-, then later artist-craftsman ceramics. As a result of long experiments I have succeeded to create glazes with embedded huge, snow-flakes-like crystals that is absolute unique globally. Crystals form by themselves due to slow cooling from high temperature. My further inventions are mobile sculptures driven by polarized light and magnet, wood carvings, goldsmith's works, ceramic and bronze sculptures, reliefs, scene and poster designing.
In 2002 I was awarded by the (municipality) Award for Rákoskert.
